If they are not feeling well, please do not send them to OES today.  Symptoms of COVID-19 include, but are not limited to, the following symptoms.  Please consider carefully whether your student currently has, or your student has experienced within the past 24 hours, any of the following signs or symptoms:
- Chills or fever of 100.0 F or higher
- New loss of smell or taste
- Cough
- Muscle or body aches
- Fatigue
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Rash
- Headache
- Nausea, vomiting, and/or stomach pain
- Diarrhea
- Loss of appetite

In the past two weeks, has your child, or has anyone your child been in close contact with (household members or others), tested positive for COVID-19, or been diagnosed with a presumptive case of COVID-19, and ordered to quarantine? *
OES requires that anyone who is not fully vaccinated and has traveled via plane, train, cruise ship or bus (outside of the Portland metro area) must quarantine before returning to OES. While a 14-day quarantine is the safest option to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to others, you may consider ending quarantine early if you have not had any symptoms and meet one of the following guidelines: a) quarantine for 10 days, or  b) quarantine for 7 days, take a COVID-19 test on day 5 or later, and receive a negative test result. *
